This firm works on a contingent fee agreement. Our fee is a set percentage of the sum recovered in the case. If there is no recovery, we receive no fee. The firm believes that a contingency fee is a productive means of compensation for legal services.
Some of our cases come to the firm through other lawyers who are seeking our complex litigation expertise. The firm welcomes the involvement and assistance of forwarding attorneys who share in our contingent fees in proportion to their work and responsibilities.
At The Raimondo Law Firm, we routinely advance the funds for the investigation and litigation expenses in our cases. At the conclusion of the case, the expenses are paid back to us out of the recovery before the fee is calculated. Typical examples of expenses include such items as court filing charges, expert fees, and court reporter transcripts.
We use a team approach. From the beginning to the end, each case is assigned at least one attorney and one paralegal. We do not handle cases on a "volume" basis; each case and client is dealt with as an individual.
The most important decision made in the case is often where the suit is filed. The decision on where to bring a case is always based on the best interests of each individual client.
We are dedicated to our clients. We provide our clients with regular reports on the progress of their cases. We have lawyers and staff who can communicate with clients in Spanish, Greek, and other foreign languages. We give our clients our toll-free number and encourage them to contact our office with any questions or concerns. Our role as attorneys is to serve as the representative of our clients. All major decisions, including any settlement proposals, are presented for the client's consideration.
